Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures. - Henry Ward Beecher |

For as long as I can remember I have been creative, I have expressed my creativity in many ways. In the past few year I decided to try out the art world, and now I am currently in the Art IV program at CHS. I am also a "photographer" and am a member of the photographer club there as well. I have received a few art awards, a Scholastic Gold Key, and one of my pieces was 3rd in the county art show in 2010. I have developed a very distinctive style, it is rather grungy, it is very much so a reflection of my personality. I am creating this site for a school project, it is for the "E-Portfolio." |

The Artist's Statement: Art helps me unwind, and my art work shows that, I love to make large pieces, because I feel that I can add more emotion to the canvas. My subject matter is usually, almost always something historical based. I find most of my inspiration in history, wars music, time spent with my friends, and my dreams. I cannot just pick one medium, I think that it is boring to just work with one medium per project. My art work is in layers, and I experiment with a lot of textures. I don't want to make a career of art, because then I would lose my escape from reality. |
